What We Do

Senior Section

The Senior Section is for young people who are between 11 and 19 years of age. It has the largest number of membership amongst the 4 Sections in The Boys’ Brigade in Malaysia. Through the proficiency awards scheme, our Members acquire skills and knowledge in various aspects of Leadership, Survival, National and Global Awareness and Community Spiritedness. In addition, the Brigade offers the Senior Section with opportunities for exposure and skills development, through leadership development courses, National -level competitions and community service projects.

As mentioned, the Senior Section members can obtain proficiency awards and recognition, throughout their life in the Brigade. The Proficiency Awards scheme is designed to develop Members in 4 aspects, which are Spiritual, Physical, Educational and Social (as according to how Jesus grew up, mentioned in Luke 2:52).

And endurance develops strength of character,
and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.
