Majlis Belia Malaysia (Malaysian Youth Council)

The Boys’ Brigade in Malaysia is an affiliated member of the Majlis Belia Malaysia.The Majlis Belia Malaysia (MBM), also known as the Malaysian Youth Council, is a Non-Governmental Organisation. It has been registered under the Youth Societies and Youth Development Act 2007 (Act 668) and is, hence, recognised by the government as the main body of the youth societies, at the national level, as specified under Section 49(1) of Act 668.

The Majlis Belia Malaysia (MBM), also known as the Malaysian Youth Council, is a Non-Governmental Organisation. It has been registered under the Youth Societies and Youth Development Act 2007 (Act 668) and is, hence, recognised by the government as the main body of the youth societies, at the national level, as specified under Section 49(1) of  ACT 668.

The MBM is established, with the aim of promoting a balanced youth development in various aspects, which includes (but not limited to) economic, social, mental, physical, moral and political aspects.In addition, the MBM also aims to nurture patriotism, as well as the spirit of working with dedication, to the benefit of the society and our nation, and thereby equip the youth to become a mature, creative, proactive, and responsible citizen.

Kementerian Belia dan Sukan Malaysia (Ministry of Youth and Sports, Malaysia)

The Boys’ Brigade in Malaysia is an affiliated member of the Kementerian Belia dan Sukan Malaysia.

The Kementerian Belia dan Sukan Malaysia (KBS) is also known as the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Malaysia. The KBS was established in 1953, along with the Cultural Division under the Welfare Department, that was responsible for youth. As time passed by and the divisions grew, the Youth and Sports division became independent, and was trusted to fulfil Malaysia’s Youth Policy, by the government.

The KBS has a vision to strengthen and maximise the human capital and the potential of youths, as the driver for the strategic future development of the country, in accordance with the Federal Constitution and the National Principles.

Council of Churches of Malaysia

The Boys’ Brigade in Malaysia is an Associate Member of the Council of Churches of Malaysia.

The Council of Churches of Malaysia (CCM) is an ecumenical fellowship of Churches and Christian Organisations in Malaysia. It is one of the three constituent members of the Christian Federation of Malaysia (CFM). CCM vision is, as according to Jesus’ prayer for His followers, as written in John 17:21 – “…that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”.

National Evangelical Christian Fellowship Malaysia

The Boys’ Brigade in Malaysia is an affiliated member of the National Evangelical Christian Fellowship.

The National Evangelical Christian Fellowship (NECF) Malaysia was formed in May 1983. The NECF aims to provide a platform for fellowship and partnership among churches, especially in missions, evangelism, Bible teaching and social actions. NECF also hopes to represent the Christian community on issues and matters affecting the Church and society, at large, in consultation and joint action with other Christian, and religious, bodies in the country.

Malaysia AIDS Council

The Boys’ Brigade in Malaysia is an affiliated member of the Malaysian AIDS Council.

The Malaysian AIDS Council (MAC) was established in 1992, to serve as an umbrella organisation to support and coordinate the efforts of non-governmental, and other, organisations working on HIV/AIDS issues in Malaysia. MAC works in partnership with government agencies, the private sector and international organisations to ensure a committed and effective response to HIV/AIDS issues in Malaysia.
